Recoveryfix Migration for Microsoft 365

Recoveryfix Migration for Microsoft 365 is an advanced tool that facilitates your Office 365 migration among different tenants. It is also capable of migrating your data from Hosted or On-Premises Exchange Servers. The following section will provide a step-by-step guide to perform migration among different tenants of Office 365.

Step 1: Launch Recoveryfix Migration for Microsoft 365 software and click on Connect to add the Source Tenant.

Step 2: Select Modern Authentication as the login option, then tap on OK.

Step 3: Enter the Source details, including Tenant ID, Client ID, Client Secret Value, and choose List all Mailboxes using above credentials options. After that, tap on Get User Mailbox(es) to select the associated accounts with the help of checkboxes, then proceed to click Add.

Note: You can create Tenant ID, Client ID, and Client Secret Value by utilizing the help section from the right pane.

Step 4: After the selection of the mailboxes of Source Tenant, click on Connect to add Destination Tenant details.

Step 5: Choose Modern Authentication for login and press on OK button.

Step 6: Enter the Destination account details, including Tenant ID, Client ID, and Client Secret Value, then select List all Mailboxes using above credentials. Click on Get User Mailbox(es) option to choose the associated accounts using the check boxes and tap on Add option.

Step 7: Use the drop-down list to map the source and destination mailboxes, then click on Set Filter and Migrate.

Step 8: Select the migration type among Mailbox, Archive Mailbox, and Public folder according to your requirement from the drop-down list and tap on Migrate option.

Step 9: You can use multiple filters to migrate selective data from one tenant of Office 365 to another with ease. These filters are as follows:

  • Date Filter
  • Exclude Deleted folder
  • Exclude empty folders
  • Select if you want to save all data hierarchy into a separate folder
  • Set operation timeout for larger emails while uploading/downloading
  • Skip Previously Migrated Items (Incremental)
  • Select if migrating to Office 365 Group
  • Request minimum items from the Server.

After applying the required filters, click on I am OK, Start Migration option.

Step 10: It will initiate the migration process of Office 365 tenants.

Step 11: After the successful migration, you will receive a message that the process is complete. Click on OK to proceed.

Step 12: Save the detailed report to CSV format, then tap on OK to close the process.
